WELCOME

     I was born and raised in Idaho, and have proudly raised my family here as well. I am a farm girl at heart and love giving back to the community I call home.

     During the summer of 2013, I took three classes at Boise State and fell in love with going to school.  I began my career as a full time student in general health sciences in the fall of 2013. After a short time I decided I wanted to focus on Gerontology and during one of my adviser meetings it was suggested that I look into the BA in Multidisciplinary Studies due to my previous college credits.  Upon further investigation and initial interview with an adviser I realized just how good of a fit this was going to be.  I have been able to put previous credits to work for me and will be completing my degree May 2016.  

     My hope is, upon graduation I will be employed as a Geriatric Care Manager.  I wish to aid senior adults and their families in formulating a comprehensive life care plan.  I have a special interest in searching out ways to maintain the senior adult in their own home for as long as possible.
