Mole Day (October 23rd) was one of my (and my students) favorite day of the year.  We would have a class party and mostly perform loud and fire-laden demonstrations the entire period.  My wife designed these Mole Cookies early in my teaching career and they became a tradition on Mole Day very quickly:

One of my colleagues and friend, Jane Wilson, even scuplted a Lab Mole out of clay and presented it to me early on in my tenure at Bishop Kelly!

The celebration always culminated in sacrificing a Gummi Worm to the chemistry "gods".  It was a modifcation of the classic "Gummi Bear Demo" using potassium perchlorate.
