I have followed a colorful, circuitous path through my life, and have reinvented myself many times. For more than 30 years I worked in a variety of fields: as a licensed massage therapist for more than 10 years, a self-employed jewelry artist, an accountant, a taxi driver, a warehouse manager, and for more than 13 years I worked on an organic farm in Oregon, all while raising a family. Through all those years, I was also a madly prolific artist, creating numerous bodies of work in a variety of media.

In this current reinvention of my life, I am studying at Boise State University to earn a degree of Bachelor of Fine Art in Art Education (K-12) with a ceramics emphasis, and a Spanish minor. My goal is to be a bilingual art teacher, so I can share my skills and enthusiastic love of learning with my students, and encourage them to express their creativity.

I love to ride my bike and ski, have an uncanny knack for finding four-leaf clovers, and I make edible works of pie art in my spare time.
